Sweet Bites is a vigorous high yielding conventional forage grass for hay, grazing, or silage. This hybrid has excellent regrowth making it suitable for producing multiple cuttings. This hybrid offers a higher leaf to stem ratio than other similar hybrids making it a leader in its field for quality and yield. Stem sugar, protein content, and yield potential make Sweet Bites a proven choice for summer forage production. Harvesting for maximum yield is when the plant reaches 40-50 inches in height, or when the field is 50% boot stage. Generally speaking the first harvest can be made 50-55 days after planting.
